Lauren Luke Brush Review

So today i am going to be talking about the Lauren Luke Brushes

So I decided to order these brushes to try out because I read great reviews on them, AND they had a very friendly price tag, 

 £33.75 for 8.

…  For all you international makeup fans, don’t worry! International shipping is only £3+ for Lauren Luke brushes I think! Really affordable wherever you are in the world =D 

So Here are the Brushes 

Now, getting down to business, the Lauren Luke brushes are of really nice quality, and especially if you’re thinking of getting into makeup more seriously For Example not just apply one eyeshadow and kohl eyeliner like I used to, then this is the perfect starter set! It has all the essentials from face to eyes and is really affordable.

Out of the 8 brushes, 5 are made from goat hair 3 are made from synthetic.

 I am not picky when it comes to what type of brush hairs I use, but my experience so far with synthetic brushes is that it doesn’t pick up pigment as well

                                                                                                                          

The first up! The Large Powder Brush, made of synthetic hair. It is huge! Fills up my entire cheek. This is good for finishing powder and for those with dry skin like me who rarely set foundation with powder, you get a really nice and big blush brush . I kid you not! 
 Does make application really easy! I love those brushes that you can just slap on to your face without worrying whether it is properly blended. With this brush, it gives a nice sheer blush!

                                                                                                                           

The Flat Contour Brush is made of goat hair and is great for bronzer, however, make sure you dust off the excess bronzer, if not it may be a little difficult to blend out. The last time I forgot to dust off the excess bronzer, I had a rather harsh line that took me awhile to blend out, not pretty. Other that that, this is a nice brush! It’s an almost perfect dupe of the MAC109 brush, fraction of the cost, It is a little lense dense that the MAC109, but negligibly so.

                                                                                                                       

The Foundation Brush! Synthetic hair, and one of my favorite brushes

 I love the design,

 it allows for precise application around my nose area and gives a lovely flawless finish. I love the gradient hairs on the brush, I find it so aesthetically pleasing. I’m a sucker for those things.. Like the sigma Mr and Mrs bunny collection! Not a known dupe for any higher end brush.

                                                                                                                         

The Tapered Blending Brush

 I love for blending colors between my crease and brow bone!

 It’s goat hair and I love that it is soft and fluffy, but it is too large for my almost nonexistent crease. Despite that, it is wonderful for blending out the colors to give it more depth. While it is great, I do wish it was a little bit denser as sometimes it is a little too soft. 

                                                                                                    

The Eyeshadow Blending Brush is probably the one I use the most often! 

 Made of goat hair, it’s the perfect size for my crease  and allows me to work the product into the outer corners of my eyes with precision,

 really bringing the depth of the eye shadow out! Absolutely love it! It i a dupe for the MAC217 brush, but slightly longer 

                                                                                                              

The Flat Eyeshadow Brush is wonderful at picking up pigment

 It is made of goat hair, 

 I use this all the time, it’s a brilliant dupe for the MAC239, once again at a fraction of the cost. Just might purchase another!

                                                                                                                           

 
One of the most popular Lauren Luke brushes is the Pencil Brush!

 Made of goat hair, it’s a dupe for the MAC219 brush,

 very slightly less dense and firm. If you like your brushes firmer and denser, stick to the MAC219! If not, this is probably just as good, and kinder to your pocket!

                                                                                                                                     

Lastly, the Angled Eyeliner Brush! Made of synthetic hair

 it is a dupe for the MAC263 brush!

                                                                                                                            

 So all in all I really love this brush set and do recommend it to everyone, whether you are a professional makeup artist or beginning!

 You can never have too many brushes right  Hope this helped in your decision of which brush set to get!

♥♥ Lush Haul & Review ♥♥

How is everyone?

So today i am going to be writing about my Buys and experience from Lush !!!!

Now i only went to lush because i got given a voucher for £40 i was going to give it to someone for a Birthday present, but i am glad i didn't Because O.M.G i am in love with lush it is my new fave shop :) 

So i am going to start of by telling you what i bought and a little picture to show you what it looks like with a short description on the smell  

I got X2 FUN bars i got the Pink one and the Green one

 

This cost £5 for 200g

Now i have to say these smell amazing

These are perfect for family time if you have toddlers 

There like Play Dough but you can bath with them :) 

They smell sooooo nice

Pink = A sweet sensation of heaven

this is what it says on the packet
Jam packed with the fruity candy smells of childhood 

It leaves your skin feeling like velvet, got to try it your self to find out :) 

The Green one is more of a citrus smell

I don't have a label on this one due to it being given to me as a freebie but i looked it up and this is the discription 

A citrus burst of tangy lime and lemon essential oils will wake you up, keep you feeling fresh and focused and help you play for hours.

This also cost £5  

Next i got the Sex Bomb Bath Bomb

 £3.20 for 200g

  This is the most relaxing smell i have come across I love the smell of jasmine

Perfect after a long hard day at work....
The Lush Description is a perfect way to describe it
  This ballistic is packed full of every sensual, relaxing oil we could find. Clary sage, jasmine and ylang ylang, blended into a classic musk base. We then packed it full of soya milk, so you can step out of the bath feeling like Cleopatra.

I couldn't agree more :) 

 This is the Ayesha Face mask 

£5.95 / 75g

 Now i love my face masks and this is one of my number ones...It is Kiwi Based
Flipping love it. I highly recommend this...It leaves you skin super soft and feeling brand new, Its just MAGIC
Lush description is

This mask was designed for those times when you want to make a quick difference to your face, for a night out. 
We wanted something that could give the skin a tautness and smoothness. But we are realists and we know that it is impossible for a face mask to give the same effects as a face lift – but for a few hours, this can make the very most of the skin you have. Even if we can't guarantee it past midnight.

My next perches was the
American Cream Conditioner  £4.95 / 100g 

 

Now this product all i can say is WOW...I dont know if other people experience heaviness with (named brand conditioners) But this leaves your hair feeling light and flowing...With that hair whipping freshness the smell scents your hair for over 48 hours I wash my hair every 2 days and the sent was still there
Lush describes this as 

Bring all the boys to the yard with this strawberry vanilla milkshake conditioner

A beautiful fruit and vanilla conditioner that really does the job. 
This is a thick heavy conditioner, but won’t leave the hair weighted down or heavy. Its combination of honey, strawberries and fresh orange juice in a thick lanolin conditioner base, will make the hair soft, manageable and easy to comb.


 My next buy was the 
It's raining men Shower Gel 
£4.25 / 100g
 

 This is not for me I personally don't like this, The scent is to sweet for me
But after using in the shower i have to say it leaves me feeling soft and squeaky clean
 There is not much more i can say on this apart from don't knock it till you have tried it all people have different opinions 
Lush Discription

Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly

Sweetie pie is what it is the Heavenly scents of Cherry's

the aroma of sweetie pie lingers in your Bathroom for hours 

Silky smooth skin after every use always a winner with me

If a bar of soap and a bottle of shower gel had a steamy affair, this would be the resulting jelly baby 

Cherries, coconut, jelly and sparkles – this is a party in a pot.  Makes every day feel like it’s your birthday. 
This is a sweet, sweet little cutie-pie.  We start this jelly by making an infusion with cherries and coconut, we then add carrageen seaweed and boil it up until it turns all jelly and wobbly on us. Then we have to get it into the mould quickly, before it sets in the pan ! 


The next thing is the Karma Komba shampoo bar

Now i have to say this is pretty pricey for a shampoo but i jumped it and thought what the hell...I am glad i did because it is worth every penny...My hair is so soft and bouncy i combine this with the American Cream conditioner...My hair is so full of life its unreal

The Lush description of this is

Gives a lovely wash with great lather – and leaves you smelling of Karma.
Karma is our signature fragrance and has been around since the start of Lush. Here we have tried to give a lovely shampoo bar that doesn’t just get your hair clean but will also leave your hair wafting of Karma fragrance all day.



The other Shampoo bar was the 
Jumping Juniper

 Amazing for greasy hair that is all i can say because i have only used it once.
My sisters statement on this is 
O.M.F.G. this is the best thing i have ever used my hair feels frigging brilliant
"Where did you get this from & Can i take this home" 
Lol so it must be good as lush shampoo has pulled her away from a Named brand lol 
Lush description 

Get greasy hair jumping

Jumping Juniper is made from our solid shampoo base with added ingredients to help oily hair have shine and bounce.

Now the next few things i did not purches these where given to me to review 

First thing i was given was the  
Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner 
£15.50 / 225g

Now i have to say i do not care how expensive this is i will be going out and purchasing this myself..... I am amazed at how soft this leaves my skin just after 2 applications......
Lush Description

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
Ro knows good rose and her nose knows it!

Packed full of ingredients to feed and nourish the skin; argan oil, cocoa butter, cupuaçu butter, brazil nut oil, almond oil and fair trade shea butter.
We didn’t think there was any room left after all those ingredients – but we just managed to squeeze in some goji berry juice in here too.

N.Y.C Cosmetics Review

Going to be doing a quick review on the products i bought 

so here goes my honest opinion on everything 

First of all I have got to say how Cheap i got this for

On the packaging it say WOW 6 PIECE KIT $30.00

Now i only payed £3 for it Wow what a barging :P

so lets get into this I will do it like this

This is the N.Y.C Finishing powder in my colour 690A Natural Veil

Personally I think this is an amazing product but you don't get enough of it

you only get 1.1gm or 0.4oz 

This is the Blush that comes with it in 639A Almost Apricot 

Now this is not my colour but it comes in the kit

you also get 1.1gm or 0.4oz 

true to colour too

This is one of the loose Eye Shadows

in 840B Espresso

you get 0.56gm or 0.02oz

i actually disappointed in this product

you have to really pack it on to get the true colour

  

This is the last of the loose shadows in 841B Cocoa Shimmer

This is to die for!!!!!

Amazing true to colour very pigmented

you also get 0.56gm or 0.02oz

Spring must haves (Makeup)

1) Benefit High Brow glow £10 – A shimmery highlighter that I use under the brow bone and at the inside corner of my eye to add dimension and light. 

 2) Benefit They’re Real! mascara £15 – After my miracle mascara (Lancome Fatale) was discontinued, I went on a long hunt for a similar alternative. This one creates extra length and helps give my stick-straight lashes a slight curve. 

3) Benefit Play Sticks £25 – A stick concealer (creme-to-powder) that works to cover under-eye circles and blemishes. Easy to use and provides good coverage.

4) Dior Style Liner £28 – The PERFECT liquid black eyeliner. I can’t say enough about it – I have tried them all and this is by far the best. The thin precision tip draws a smooth line and it will not budge all day.

5) Bare Minerals Matte SPF 15 Foundation £20 – I like the new matte version better than the original formula (less sheen). Provides a light coverage for everyday wear. 

6) Bare Minerals SPF 20 Concealer £10 – I use this as an extra concealer over the Play Sticks – this one finishes and sets the concealer. 

7) Anastasia Brow Powder Duo £13 – The duo of colors (I have the Medium Brown) allows for a custom color blend when filling in brows. 

 8) Tarte Eyelash curler £14 (price includes mascara) – Curls lashes well and have never had problems with it pulling out lashes like others can tend to do. 

 9) Nars Duo eyeshadow in All About Eve £15 – Great neutral colors – the lighter color on the right is a great all-over eye color, and the more shimmery color on the left side works well on just the lid. 

10) Benefit Hoola bronzing powder £18– The best bronzer I have found – absolutely no shimmer in it, which is perfect for a natural bronzed look. Use just a bit for an everyday glow, or layer it on for a faux “Summer Tan"

Luminess Air Review

   So Luminess Air is the talk of the year!!!!

I have finally got my hands on one and gave it a first impressions Review. 

This is what I Received 

The Touches they put to make it all more enjoyable :)


Right I am going to start by saying how easy it is to set up and start using is amazingly easy, Plug in and off you go :)

The system I received is Pink & Silver small sleek and stylish just how I like it :P 

The Package comes with
X4 Foundations of your shade/choice (7.5ml/0.25fl oz)
X1 Brightening Glow (7.5ml/0.25fl oz)

X1 Blush of your choice/Shade (7.5ml/0.25fl oz)
X1 Moist Primer (16ml/0.55fl oz)

X1 Bronzer (16ml/0.55fl oz)

I also recived a D.V.D to watch to make myself clear on how to use it & a Booklet to show on how to do it too.

Now to the best part :)
THE REVIEW !!!!!

Right i am going to start off on how easy it to Put a few drops (about 6-8) in the funnel part of the airbrush 

Next i am going to say How friggin easy it is to pull the leaver back a tiny bit to let the foundation to come out on your face remember to hold it about 6 inches away to get that perfect look 

Now the bad things (I hate this part) 

The foundation is to thick (I personally have to put 1 drop of water in to every 3 drops of foundation)
It takes a few times to get used to cleaning it 
When i first cleaned the system I thought i broke it 
Stupid me tightened the pin to much :( 
but after taking it apart 3 or 4 times i got used to it :)

YES YOU WILL BE PLEASED AND IT WILL BE WORTH YOUR WHILE PURCHASING THIS SYSTEM & WHEN YOU ORDER YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY AN EXPERT ASKING YOU A FEW QUESTIONS

Allergic Reaction to eyelash glue!!!! :(

WARNING!!!!!!
PLEASE READ
I advise you to seek medical help if you can
DO NOT rub the inflamed area it will make it worse 

If you want to easy the itchiness put some plain yogurt or ice on the inflamed area !!!!!

This is a picture of my eye due to an allergic reaction to cheap eyelash glue :( 
This product I bought from the local Pound land/Doller store !!!!!


The reaction is horrible it's itchy sore and inflamed.....

BUT BE WARNED GUYS & DOLLS DON'T BUY CHEAP ADHESIVE ALWAYS SPEND THAT BIT MORE TO MAKE SURE THIS DON'T HAPPEN !!!!!!!

Yes you save money but is it worth looking like this for saving that few extra bucks? 

IF you buy any of these products use at own risk

Victoria Jackson Cosmetics

Well i have been so busy these last couple of days !!!

I have been so occupied threw decorating and re-arranging the rooms.....

But yeah back to the make-up as you all know i am addicted to Victoria Jackson Cosmetics :D

I finally after 2 weeks of waiting i revived everything i was promised YAY!!!!!

So first of all i am going to be giving my opinions about the stuff i revived 

First i received this Victoria Jackson Lipstick Duo 

To me these actuly motorise your lips...I wore the deep red for the day and only had to reply it twice....The day after my lips felt so conditioned 

 i got them as a promo
These for a limited offer
I have looked around online for these and i can not actually find them unless you risk EBAY
But that is upto you as the consumer !!!!!


Next i received a Pallet
This is the ????? Pallet (The pallet with no name) :(

Like O.M.G this pallet is amazing same as the rest of them Victoria Jackson never fails to impress me :) 
I just wish this pallet was named so i could share it with the world :P 
But yeah back to the make-up 
This is a mixed pallet 5 eye-shadows, 5 Lip glosses, 2 blush 

There is some magic to this pallet there is actully like a flip lid on top of the compartments to stop fallout and they are removable compartments too :D
All very light feeling on the skin like her slogen says it's the
NO MAKE-UP, MAKE-UP
I have looked around and you can find these on Amazon for around £20 - $25 
Very acceptable for the product 



Next i recived a Victoria Jackson Duo Mascara (But it was in brown) :( 

 

Apart form being brown this is an amazing Mascara it comes with a eye lash conditioner which i find pretty helpful as it stops the hard work of removing waterproof Mascara at night :D 
The wands on these are ok not the best but they do the job of applying Mascara :) 
I have looked around for this online and you can buy it on 

Amazon & EBAY
for around £6 - $8

Then FINALLY i recived my Brushes :D 

These are the <3 me Make up Essentials Brushes

In this Brush set you get from left to right Eyebrow/eyeliner Brush....Eyeshadow brush.........Eyeliner .....Lip Brush 

Blusher brush & the Foundation Brush 

these are really good quality Brushes Super soft and easy to clean 
I have looked around for these online and found them on EBAY for around 
£10 - $15
